It's been tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime since I wrote in this journal bugger.
SO, here's an update


Alcon
Well. All together Alcon must have been the best weekend of my entire life. It reminded me of Summer 2007.

Friday
A mass shoe drama from Kayt (bless her) slowed us when the heel kept coming off her boot and she discovered she forgot to pack another pair. Then Lizzie accidentally dropped Ricey's suitcase meaning the vodka smashed and we had to pick out the glass.
BUT IT WAS OKAY! We got to DMU in plenny o' time, and registered and bla bla bla. We got dressed into our cosplays and went into Leicester for SUSHI (and shopping).I believe me, Kayt and Lizzie went to the yaoi panel that evening...for the lulz.

The plan was to come back to our dorms and drop off our crap and join the Ninja clan party. HOWEVER party was closeded!!..orrrr just moved to Block B's ground floor kitchen (Block B ground floor was US). Oh yes, we had fun. I met manyful peoples! (Haydn, Angel, Josh, Kurtis, Liam). Clowes was also one I met - he made some armour out of glowsticks..which made me talk to him. Then I realised he was Scottish and had to stop talking to him.

Guess I must have started talking to the really tall guy - who I met cause Jeff and Ricey, after a booze run, made me go give him his drink.


Saturday
I know I was wearing my lolita cosplay..and I got excited whenever I saw a KH cosplayer. I also remember walking into the entrance hallway and running into Haydn and Angel dressed as Dante and Nero from DMC4. Ahhh...it began! He was so tall and cute :3

Dealer's room was awesome. I spent WAY too much money on things I don't need...but they made me smile so it was okay ^_^ Then me and Matty entertained ourselves with playing with Haydn's hair. Then we went to see LittleKuriboh in all his YuGiOh Abridged glory. Lasted like an hour longer than it was meant to.

THAT NIGHT! We went to take the anime-pub quiz. We didn't win. But we were team Dante's Bitches. And therefore better than the winners anyway.
Party number 2! I don't remember it all that well. I know Lizzie and Kayt raped me a lot. And there were lots of pictures of said rape. Aaaand...I THINK that was the night of REALLY Drunk Guy. There was a dude on the balcony who was absolutely wasted and his friends just threw buckets of water over him. It was hilarious from where we were sitting.


Sunday
Our last day was probably the best day ^_^
We got all awesomed up and headed to the Quay bar forthe Rock Band competition. I didn't take part, but it was pretty epic just watching...and stuffinf chips in Haydn's mouth lulz. Loads of pictures taken of us looking amazing and stuff. We had a look in the Dealer's Room again, and spent (probably) way too much money.

We went to the Cosplay Cafe after that. OMNOM cake...not so omnom for the Wagon Wheel Delight. We decided to make a drink that consisted of Lucozade, Fanta, coffee, Wagon Wheel, apple cake and a wrapper. Lizzie and Kayt both tried the drink and gagged. Josh managed it though.
Much rofling sessions later when I got attacked by Kayt's Groudon finger pupper and Ricey pulling faces and me and Lizzie unable to speak, we moved to the courtyard to hang out. We had fun.

Me and Kayt COMPLETELY trashed Jeff's room. We hid all his things, threw teabags everywhere, and hung his underwear out the window. He walked past his window at least 6 times before he realised it actually was his. He threw such a fit, so me, Kayt and Haydn all hid in his room with the lights out for when he'd come in. Me and Kayt were found easy and had a giggle at him throwing a strop. He even KNEW that Haydn was in the wardrobe, but he still yelped and jumped when Haydn jumped out wearing his Bleach mask xP

We went to the Quay Bar to rock out, then came back for a final party. Guess what? It was amazing ^_^ I met an Italian guy and got very excited and glomped a lot of people. I was very drunk.
"I'm going to hell anyway" may just be the best line ever :3 *giggles*


So that was Alcon! It was amazing, and now I have a fantabulous new boyfriend! ^_^ I'm also off to ALCL in November, so that should be fun. Except work screwed Lizzie and Kayt over so they can't make it now =[




Uni
For those of you that don't know, I have recently started a Creative Writing Course at Derby university. I absolutely love it.

Spoken Word's a bit of a mess, but I LOVE Creatove Practice. Focus 1's boring and Writer's Reading's pretty good. I have Tuesdays and Friday's off,so all in all, it's pretty good.
I've made some great friends so far too.

My flat mates are all epic win and crazy, but I have managed to earn the label 'Drunk Girl'. I love that Rachy's only round the corner for me, and I made friends through her as well. Recently made some more course mates who I get on with fantastically. Although, my boyfriend does get on a little too well with my flat mate's boyfriend. It worries us.


Uni clearly isn't as good as Alcon. And it'll never be as good as things are in Hinckley with all those amazing people (who I miss so much it hurts a little), but I'm really glad to control things on my own now, and I think I'm doing really well with it ^_^

I'm just a little unwell

It's been a while! Ahhhhh a lot has happened!! Which is why I haven't updated this bloody thing in tiiiimmmmeeee.

Well. My laptop exploded AGAIN. Meaning I lost all my shit. AGAIN!!!! This pissed me off as I was totally on a roll in writing new shizz D: Then I had exams and blahblahblahblahIamtalkinglikeatotalreje ct.

However! I am now back on track and have been writing looooads all in prep for uni ^^ which I totally can't wait for...just so y'know ;D Especially seeing as I have done bugger all except get drunk and dance all summer.

I've gone back to writing Iris, and have written the first draft of chapter 17, am halfway through chapter 18 and made a start on chapter 19.
I've also started a new not-so-secret project, but it is doubtful that will ever be posted anywhere, I have a lot of thinking to do about that.
The only thing I haven't gone back to is Settling which I lost a lot of and was absolutely devastated about. So I think I'm just putting off writing more of that.

I'm quite surprised at myself really, I don't usually write this much prose! Although I do feel I'm better at it than poetry.
Either way. I'm not dead. I've just been busy.

So. Christmas has been and gone now, but the spirit is still alive in the house and it's been a far better Christmas than last year.

I'm the only one in my house that actually LIKES Christmas and I'd absolutely love it if my folks would stop complaining about having to see their families and spend some money and cook some food (Heaven forbid). So you can imagine my surprise when my mother started decorating and making trifle.

So. Christmas Eve. Hectic as always. I went to my Nonna's to see the wonderful Loughborough Pulia mafia and had the biggest laughing fit over Letizia's embarrassing moments.I got the perfume I really wanted and had a great time. I also found out that Love Actually can STILL make me cry XD

Christmas day. After spending 10 minutes jumping on Nina's bed (and most probably legs) saying "Getup, getup, getup" I went down and opened my presents. I got my Shadow plushie!! And Goo Goo Dolls live in Buffalo!! Happy child.
Got some uni prep and nice smelly stuff from the mother's lot. Nice one. I did panic when I thought I'd poured water over my meal..turned out it was just thin gravy XD. Oh, and my father fails at 'Who's/What's in the Bag?'. Funny stuff. Darnce?! DARNCE?! It's DANCE!

Boxing Day with the grandad and the parents and sister. Om nom nom, good food and half a bottle of brandy in the brandy sauce is always good. I ended up starting a drawing of Rob Thomas while my stomach stopped hurting from my massive food intake and then went downstairs to make a latte with the present from *Kori-ryuu (Soooooooo good!!) and do some reading. But I ended up watching and singing along to Mary Poppins Ahh! Step in time.
Unfortunate news from the Warren's, though. R.I.P


So basically. I have an awesome family (Love you!). I have awesome friends (Love you!). Awesome presents (THANK YOU!) And a rekindled love for wine.

Recently in Psychology we briefly looked at the E.P.Q, and my wonderful friends found it hilarious that I was prominantly Melancholic as they constantly comment on my neurosis and OCD (like supporting friends do).
So in my feeble attempt to redeem myself, I took a longer and more accurate test to try and prove them wrong.
These are my results:


Extroversion (64%)
Extroversion results were moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

Neuroticism (85%)
Neuroticism results were very high which suggests you are extremely worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.

Psychoticism (36%)
Psychoticism results were moderately low which suggests you are, at times, overly kind natured, trusting, and helpful at the expense of your own individual development (martyr complex).


As you can see, it didn't really go my way. I managed to prove myself stupidly neurotic.
I would highly reccommend this test though. Reading through, these are very accurate results for me. If any of my friends disagree with anything said then go ahead, make it heard.

Well that's certainly the shortest relationship I've been in =/

I don't regret it at least, just goes to show you that you need to get over some things before you rush yourself into something else.

Ah well, Halloween soon...yay?
I've never been that much into it, probs cause I've never really done anything for it xD Well, this year I'm gonna go with my best friend to take her lttle brother trick or treating and then back to hers for a sleepover (with LOTS of junkfood more than likely). Then I have to get up early to go to a uni open day in Gloucester, >< then I come back, dress up again and head down the road to an actual party. Well, I call it a party I mean a small gathering of friends getting wrecked lol.

Well, I submitted Sugar cause I got some inspiration, and instead of doing my Media coursework I think I might edit Madam, I'm Adam with a hot mocha and some Go Ahead Slices =] Yeah...that sounds like a plan.
Actually, I want a latte. I'll just import Smidge to my house specifically for her to make it for me xD I'll give her some pasta in return!!! Cause I'm nice like that
